2025 ADEA Triennale

The Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel (GEEAP) will play a central role at the 2025 ADEA Triennale on Education and Training, taking place from 29–31 October in Accra, Ghana. As part of the side event “Improving Foundational Learning – Data, Evidence, Assessments, and Evaluation in Foundational Learning,” GEEAP will host the global launch of its latest endorsed report, Global Evidence for Effective Reading Programs in LMICs.

The session will feature GEEAP panellist Benjamin Piper and other leading experts who will unpack global evidence on effective reading instruction, drawing on over 75 studies across 106 languages. The discussion will explore how these findings can inform Africa’s foundational learning priorities—highlighting practical lessons on adapting evidence-based literacy approaches to diverse language contexts and education systems.

By convening policymakers, researchers, and practitioners, GEEAP aims to reinforce the urgency of addressing the learning crisis and support African governments in embedding data, evidence, and implementation research into national reforms that ensure every child learns.
